Andre Davis
Chief Technology Officer

Andre Davis is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of yieldWerx Semiconductor, and spearheads the development of the technology roadmap and product strategy. Andre is a 16-year expert veteran of the Semiconductor Test Industry, having started semiconductor fabs and test floors in many countries including Japan, China, Korea, Philippines, and Singapore. Andre started yieldWerx with the vision of developing systems and software that allow process to final test, and packaging data analysis, with in built linkages to design process and design data management.

Prior to yieldWerx, Andre worked in product marketing and engineering roles for Advantest and Schlumberger. He has been responsible for numerous enterprise wide systems development projects for manufacturing process, automation and process control, defect analysis and yield management, probe and final test, semiconductor testing, and yield analysis. He has been instrumental in the development of applications and systems to automate probe and final test, reducing test times, and improving performance of handlers and probers.

Usman Hamid
VP Product Engineering

Usman Hamid is the VP of Product Engineering for yieldWerx. His areas of expertise are mainly in information technology, semiconductor test, IT strategy, software development, consulting, and building shared services organizations for major international companies.

Usman holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge in England. While at the University of Cambridge, he was granted the Commonwealth Scholarship. Before joining yieldWerx, Usman held the position of Research Associate at the Panasonic Research and Development Center in Cambridge, England, and helped build technology for the advancement of flat bed televisions.

Larry Neal
Infrastructure and Solution Strategy

Larry holds the position of Infrastructure and Solution Strategy Advisor at yieldWerx. He has over 25 years experience in IT and Infrastructure Consulting. Having spent 6 years with Deloitte & Touche as the IAS Senior Manager of Technical Services, Larry was instrumental in developing the international network of Deloitte & Touche. He subsequently held the position of Practice Manager for 2 years at Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group.

Larry also has over 10 years of Operations Management experience, including DBA, QA, Helpdesk and Telecom Management experience. His forte also includes Disaster Recovery, Data Center Relocation and Regulatory Compliance.

Rick Rashid
Senior Database Architect

Rick comes to yieldWerx with over 14 years of software and database development experience. His expertise are in the relational database design, modeling, architecture, and optimization for performance areas.

Prior to joining yieldWerx, Rick was with Oracle Corporation for 5 years, and has led projects at Verizon, Citizens Communications, Reliant Energy, Air Liquide, Cingular, and Hilti Corporation. He was also extensively involved with Conoco in the development of their Environmental Chemical Tracking Database Project, and the Pressure And Corrosion Monitoring Application. Prior to that, he has the position of Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse on their Premas Production Systems.

Rick holds a BS in Computing and Information Sciences - Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK - 1988
